The New York State death index records Konstanty Bamberski’s death in Rochester, Monroe County, on February 11, 1979, aged 92; Rochester was also his home. The Social Security death file gives his birth as March 22, 1885, and his death as February 1979.
In the 1950 census he was living in Rochester with his wife, Mary G., their son Edward J. and Edward’s wife. He was 65, born in Poland and a naturalized citizen, and was working as a machinist in the paper-machinery industry.
The Social Security record of his son Florian names Florian’s parents as Konstanty Bamberski and Mary Gabrich.
Not yet settled. The state index gives his age at death as 92. With a birth date of March 22, 1885, he would have been 93, the age shown above.
