Not yet settled. The Wisconsin marriage index lists a Christina Basten married in Brown County on August 28, 1901; the index does not name the groom. The 1913 history of Brown County lists a daughter Christina, the wife of William C. Krieser, among Joseph and Elizabeth Basten’s children, and says Krieser married Christina Basten in 1901. Tina is a common short form of Christina, but no record yet shows that Tina and Christina are the same person.
